Terms and Conditions

1. Welcome Offer for New Customers

Customers Immediately effective from June 1st, 2020 for all new domain name registrations and new domain name transfers

1.2 This is an Introductory Offer which is a one-time-offer/first-time-offer only applicable to new customers

1.3 The Welcome Offer is being offered once per customer, not per account, regardless of whether the customer supplies different customer account information (i.e. email address, telephone number, or payment method.)

1.4 Offer applies to new domain registrations and new domain transfers

1.5 This offer applies to the first year of registration or transfer periods of two to five years only

1.6 Subsequent years and renewals are charged at the regular price.

1.7 IONOS SE reserves the right to alter or discontinue the Welcome Offer at any time and without notice

1.8 Customer agrees upon sign up with the Welcome Offer to adhere to the IONOS SE GT&Cs which are incorporated herein by reference. The terms of the Welcome Offer do not supersede or impact any other parts of the IONOS SE GT&Cs.

2. Promotional Arbitrage of Domain Name Offers

2.1 IONOS SE reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account it suspects of abuse, fraud, taking unfair advantage of our Welcome Offers or if other activity on your customer account is found to be in violation of our GT&Cs. IONOS SE also reserves the right to block and remove offers, associated services from accounts that we suspect, in our sole discretion, are involved in such activities or behaviors.

2.2 IONOS SE reserves the right to remove the welcome offer if we detect promotional offer abuse behaviour of, including accounts suspected of “colluding” together to take unfair advantage of, the Welcome offers. Each customer (as a person) agrees to pay the difference of the standard offer if such a determination is made.

2.3 PLEASE NOTE that in such circumstances, IONOS SE reserves the right to refuse a refund of any money paid for services other than your original purchase amounts.

3. Promotional Offer Abuse

3.1 This section is meant to define Offer Abuse and includes, but is not limited to, any one of the following types of cases:

3.2 Where any terms of the offer or promotion are breached including the general promotional T&Cs and/or any other applicable terms and conditions associated with the offer

3.3 Where there is evidence of a series of attempts placed by a customer or group of customers across multiple accounts to take advantage of an offer, promotional offer abuse which results in guaranteed customer profits irrespective of the outcome, whether individually or as part of a group, we reserve the right to confiscate or void the claimed offers

3.4 Opening or creating multiple new customer accounts with the intention to abuse the promotion previously provided or different customer account information in an attempt to circumvent the One Time/Per Customer terms of this offer

3.5 Whether known or unknown to us, taking advantage of any software or system bug, loophole, fault, error or failure including, but not limited to, in respect to any transaction

3.6 Any customer placing the orders with the intention to abuse and exploit the promotions in a way they were not originally intended, may have their account or claimed offers forfeited and account closed. Offers do not apply to bulk new domain transfers.

4. Eligibility

4.1 In accordance with the Sections above, if a customer is found to be in breach of these clauses, all promotional offers will be confiscated and/or you are liable for the full price of all other domains at regular price offers or standard renewal price as applicable to be offered solely at IONOS SE’s discretion. Offers do not apply to bulk new domain transfers.

4.2 If a customer is identified to be breaching domain offer terms following an internal investigation, they may be prevented from utilizing or participating in future promotions. This includes but is not limited to on site offers, targeted offers and any new customer offers on Domain Names. This decision will be made by IONOS and will be final.
