Maintaining compliance with the EU Consumer Rights Directives

Valid for online shops that were ordered until 2017.

You will find various functionalities in your Online Store for the implementation of the EU Consumer Rights Directives (CPD). These have been incorporated with well-known portals such as Trusted Shops, Protected Shops, and Janolaw as part of the VRRL.

Note

There is no way to display a single, suitable cancellation policy directly in the shopping basket during order completion. Due to the large number of theoretically possible combinations of mandatory information, (for example, the shipping method or product group) no automated solution is possible.

Using supporting functions

You can use the following functions in your Online Store administration interface:

Use a checkbox for confirming the waiver of the right of cancellation in the online shop
Download a standard form for exercising the right of cancellation in PDF format
Several different cancellation policies can be managed and sent automatically by email depending on specifications
