Inserting and editing sections in MyWebsite
Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.

Use the drag & drop function to insert sections in the desired position of your MyWebsite. All sections automatically adapt to the design of your website. This article shows you how.
Edit sections
Log in to your IONOS account and open your MyWebsite project.
Click on Insert sections in the main menu .
Select the desired category.
Actions: Visitor magnets with short headlines and large images.
Highlights: Emphasize your content with visual accents.
Grids: Presentation and introduction of articles.
Collages: A picture is worth a thousand words.
Articles: Creative presentation of information.
Drag the desired section to the desired position in the content area.
Customize sections individually. You have the following options:
Show/hide elements: Select the desired content by activating/deactivating the sliders.
Section background: Select a section background (no background/color/image) for the entire section.
Activate parallax effect: Click on Image and activate the parallax effect. With the parallax effect, overlapping content moves at different speeds, giving the viewer an impression of depth.
Group background: You can select a separate background for each group (no background/color/image).
Arrangement: Change the position and arrangement of the section by clicking on the icon.
Optional: Width: Select the desired width (Normal/Full width).
To edit elements within a section , click on the desired element.
Optional: If you are editing a section that consists of groups, you can add groups or delete groups.
To add a new group, click on Add group.
To edit the arrangement of the columns, click on Columns in the Groups tab and select the desired number of columns and group width.
To delete a group, click on the Delete icon next to the desired group .
To select a background for a specific group, click on the Select background icon next to the desired group .
Optional: Customize the design of the section. You have the following options:
Select the desired shade.
Select the desired corner display.
Select the desired effect.
Click on Save.
