Adapt Content Width to Browser Window

Valid for MyWebsite Now.

A page of your website project consists of several sections that contain individual elements such as graphics and text. Depending on the design template used, the content of a section can have a fixed width or completely fill the available screen width. This article explains how to adjust this setting.

Notice

If you switch from fixed to flexible page width, elements of the corresponding section may lie on top of each other. This depends on the available width of the Internet browser being viewed and cannot be influenced by you.
The Full width option (slider active) cannot be used together with the flexibility feature.

Calling up the MyWebsite Now editor

Changing the width type

Select Content in the left-hand menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor.
Optional: To add a new section, move the mouse pointer to the centre between two sections. The button Add section button appears.
Click on the Add section button to select and insert a new section element.
In the detail window, move the mouse pointer over the top left-hand corner of the desired section and click on the Section options button.
In the Section options column, click > Tab: Design >Section width.
Activate the Full width slider so that the selected section uses the full width of the browser window in future.
