Enabling an SSL Certificate for MyWebsite Now

With an SSL certificate, you encrypt the data transferred between your website and the users who access it. This article explains how to activate an SSL certificate for your website project.
Standard: Automatic activation
For MyWebsite Now, the SSL certificate is normally activated automatically within a few minutes as soon as a domain is connected to the website.
In the following cases, however, you will need to connect your domain to MyWebsite Now manually:
- You have connected your website to a domain that has not yet been assigned an SSL certificate
- You have deactivated SSL encryption
Activate SSL certificate manually
Open the administration overview of your MyWebsite Now.

- If you have several MyWebsite Now contracts, these are grouped together in the Websites & Stores Overview regardless of the contract. Select the desired website by clicking on Manage website.
- Click on the red lock symbol next to your domain name to assign an SSL certificate.
- Tick the box to confirm that you accept the SSL policy and then click Activate SSL certificate for free.
