Add store to MyWebsite Now

This article describes how to show or hide the link to the shop in the website navigation in your MyWebsite Now tariff.

Like Home and Blog, the Shop navigation element is one of the automatically created system pages that are always available in the MyWebsite Now site administration.

Initially set up shop

Calling up the MyWebsite Now editor

Log in to your IONOS account.
In the title bar, click on Menu > Websites & Shops.
Optional: If you have several MyWebsite Now projects, select the corresponding contract.
In the tile with the name of your online project, click on the button MyWebsite Now open. You will find this tile on the right-hand side of the browser window. The Presence Suite for this project opens.
In the Presence Suite menu bar, select the item Website editor. MyWebsite Now opens in a new window.

Hide shop

In the menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor, click on Pages.
Click on the shop tile in the page structure. You can recognise it by the shopping basket symbol.
Tick the Hide page box in the detailed information to the right of the page structure to hide the shop link.

Hide shop categories

Categories created in your shop, e.g. women's and men's clothing, are displayed as additional elements in the navigation by default.

In the menu bar of the MyWebsite Now editor, click on Pages.
Click on the shop tile in the page structure. You can recognise it by the shopping basket symbol.
Tick the Hide categories from navigation box to deactivate this view. This view can only be switched on or off globally.
