Uninstalling Cyber Protection Agent for a New Installation

For Cloud Backup
If you encounter any issues with the Cyber Protection Agent, a simple troubleshooting option is to simply uninstall and reinstall it. To do this, you must first completely uninstall the Managed Backup Agent, which we will guide you through below.
Windows Server 2012, 2016, or 2019
Log in to the server as an administrator.
To open the Run window, press the key combination [Windows key] + [R].
To open the Control Panel, enter the command control and click OK.
Click Programs and Features (Windows 10) or Uninstall a program (Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019).
Double-click Cyber Protection Agent.
Check the Remove logs and configuration settings option.
Click Uninstall.
The Cyber Protection Agent will be uninstalled.
Linux
Log in to the server as an administrator.
To uninstall the Cyber Protection Agent, enter the following command:
[root@localhost ~]# /usr/lib/Acronis/BackupAndRecovery/uninstall/uninstall
The Cyber Protection Agent Setup powered by Acronis opens.
Select Next from the Uninstall menu and press Enter.
The following message is displayed:Cyber Protection Agent has been successfully removed from the system.
Press the Enter key to close the menu.
The Cyber Protection Agent will be uninstalled.
