Migrating a Server with Plesk Onyx to Cloud Server (Linux)

Plesk Migration & Transfer Manager allows you to migrate hosting data from one server to another. Examples: Service packages, accounts, or subscriptions with content.
In order to migrate this data, the same Plesk version must be installed on the new server.
The following data will not be migrated by Plesk Migration & Transfer Manager:
The list of connected database servers and their settings
Apache module settings
Backup settings
Backup files and FTP storage settings
Plesk extensions
Third-party software and services, e.g. Google services
Administrators and customers should manually configure these settings and add missing items.
Note
Transfer between Plesk for Linux and Plesk for Windows is not supported.
To migrate your dedicated or root server to a Cloud Server:
Prerequisites
You have created a full backup of the server to be migrated.
You have logged in to Cloud Panel.
You are in the Infrastructure > Server area.
Create Cloud Server

Access Data for Plesk Obsidian
To access the credentials for Plesk Obsidian, do the following:
In the Infrastructure > Servers section, enable the server you created.
Scroll down to the Plesk: section.
Make a note of the username and password.
Logging into the Plesk Obsidian User Interface
In the Plesk area, click the link next to Admin Area.
A new tab will open.Click Advanced.
If you are using Google Chrome, click Continue to YOUR ADDRESS (unsafe). If you are using Mozilla Firefox, click Acceptrisk and continue.
Log in to Plesk as an administrator.
Read and accept the license terms.
Click OK.
Click Change View and then click learn more about views.
In the Select your interface section, select Service Provider view.
Click OK.
Install Plesk Migrator
In the left navigation bar, click Tools & Settings.
In the Plesk section, click Updates.
The Install and Update Plesk page will open in a new tab.Click Add/Remove Components.
Click the arrow located next to the Plesk Migrator entry.
Click Install.
Click Continue.
The Plesk Migrator will be installed.Click OK.
Migrate Hosting Data
Click Tools & Settings in the left navigation bar.
The page will refresh.In the Tools & Resources section, click Migration & Transfer Manager.
Click Start a New Migration.
Under Panel type, select Plesk.
Under IPAddress, enter the IP address of the server you want to migrate.
Under Root login, enter the username of the administrator.
Under RootPassword, enter the administrator password.
Optional: Under SSH Port, enter the SSH port of the server.
Under Temp directory , enter the temporary directory.
Click Prepare migration.
In the List ofsubscriptions tab, select the desired filter under Migrate by:
By Subscription: if you are migrating a subscription set up for a customer or reseller, the associated customer or reseller account and the assigned hosting plan are also migrated.
Customer: When you migrate a customer account, all associated subscriptions and hosting plans are migrated. The associated customer accounts are not migrated automatically with this migration type. You must manually select the associated customer accounts for them to be migrated.
Reseller: When you migrate a reseller account, all associated subscriptions and hosting plans are migrated. The associated customer accounts are not migrated automatically with this migration type. You must manually select the associated customer accounts for them to be migrated.
Hosting Plan: When you migrate a hosting plan, all subscriptions assigned to that hosting plan are also migrated. If the hosting plan belongs to a reseller account, the reseller account and all associated subscriptions are also migrated.
Select the subscriptions you want to migrate.
Under Content that must be transferred, select the data and configuration settings to migrate.
Optional: Under Subscription owner, select the desired owner of the subscriptions.
Click Migrate.
The hosting data will be migrated.
