Changing Your Performance Level

In this article, we will show you how you can change the performance level of your web hosting contract.

With different performance levels, you can adjust the resources available to run PHP scripts at any time - without changing your package. Simply order the desired performance level. Find out more about the different performance levels here.

• Log in to IONOS.
• Click in the tile overview on Hosting.
• On the next page, select the contract whose performance level you want to change.
• On the next page, click Manage in the Performance Level tile. The Performance Level page is displayed.
• In the Select Performance Level area, you can now see your current level and the possible switch options. Select the desired performance level, accept our terms and conditions and click Buy & Activate.

Please note: You can only use performance levels with your package that are equal to or higher than the basic level belonging to the package. If, for example, you use the Unlimited Plus package, you can choose between levels 2 to 5, but not level 1, because this package already uses level 2 as a base-level service.
