Are you using a Click & Build application and want to export your data?

Below you will learn how to export your data in a common format.

    Data Locations

    Installation directory and database

The data in your IONOS product is stored in two locations:

    1. In your installation directory/webspace

    2. In your database

    Prerequisites

Your product must be a standard application

A prerequisite for data export is that the product is switched to a standard application if it is in managed or safe mode.

If your Click & Build application is in managed or safe mode, please reference the step-by-step instructions here on how to switch it to standard mode.

    Determining Directory and Database Name

Note the installation directory and the name of your database

To export the data, you must know the installation directory and the name of the database.

To find the installation directory and database for your Click & Build application, follow these steps:

    •     Log in to the IONOS Control Panel
    •     Select the contract with your Click & Build application
    •     Click on the App Center link in the Hosting panel
    •     Click the "Details" button for the application
